Gloves, Wool, GS

Gloves, GS. Genuine WW2 period GS gloves. Colours and styles vary as huge numbers were made knitted in WW2 by Comforts knitting groups, using different batches and colours of wool from dark brown through tan to shades of green. We also have found evidence of US Army gloves being worn, presumably as Lease-Lend Supplies. The type despatched are genuine British GS pattern.

These gloves being from my collection are mint unissued and in most cases are still sewn into pairs ready for issue
