Early War gasmask bag-unusual alternative pattern £10

Early in WW2 gasmask bags were in short supply compared to the numbers required and other versions were sourced which seemk to have been mainly issued to Homeguard and Civilian services. Condition very grubby/used, string frayed

Under no circumstances should an old gasmask be used/worn.
