1944 dated Indian made cap comforter
1944 Indian made wool cap comforter. Issued to every soldier for use in cold weather, can also be used as a scarf. Famously used by the commando's in their early raids.
A lot of Indian made equipment was destined for the Far East but much also found its way to the Western Desert and as this example shows, to the UK.
Overall VGC but being 80+ year old wool has a few little moth nips.
