Civil Defence WW2 Ambulance crew badge

Ambulance Badge, issued when the ARP service changed its title to Civil Defence in mid 1941 as part of the review following the Blitz in the winter of 1940/41. One of these changes was a move from blue and red colours to black/navy blue and 'old gold' yellow badges.

This badge is a genuine WW2 unissued/near unissued example, please note that appearance may vary slightly as we have several different (but all genuine) badges in stock, including various shades of the 'Old Gold'/yellow coloured lettering!
