Rifle Training for war by Captain E H Robinson, he was very quick off the mark as the Local Defence Volunteers for who he wrote the book only retained that title for a few months before becoming the Home Guard. It has obviously been much used and kept in a pocket (couple fo pages detached), but I have never come across this title before, and any book for the LDV is very scarce. these type of privately printed manuals were aimed at the Homeguard who in the early years of the war lacked any information and instructional manuals.
