WS18 1940 dated wireless set

WS18 infantry Wireless set, case dated 1940. This is one of the best WS18's we have had, it has original canvas cover, belt, shoulder straps and fittings and comes with 12 aerial rods, mic, headset and morse key

Overall good condition, the only faults I have found are: the rubber covering the set connecting cable has become hard and a bit is missing, and the rubber side cover where an external supply can be fed is also rigid but does not detract overall and 3 of the belt plate rivets need repair, not much considering age and use!

Illustration shows actual wireless, working condition unknown, no wireless equipment should be connected or used (as they can generate very high voltages) without checking over by a competent engineer and obtaining the appropriate operators licences. Operation without a licence is a criminal offence (and that includes turning it on!).
