Civil Defence WW2 Drivers Badge

Drivers Badge, issued when the ARP service changed its title to Civil Defence in mid 1941 as part of the review following the Blitz in the winter of 1940/41. One of these changes was a move from blue and red colours to black/navy blue and 'old gold' yellow badges.
