One of the main rifles of the HomeGuard £375 Mauser Actioned Rifles Various k98’s IN stock, phone, visit or see web shop FN Mauser Model 1924. These model 1924 Mausers were made by FN at Herstal, Belgium and based on the proven K98 action. This example was made between 1930 and 1934 for a Chinese contract during the Chiang Kai Shek period (if I have got my history right!) and has Chinese characters to the side of the breech. After the German invaded Belgium in 1940 they used the factories at Herstal, Liege to manufacture these rifles and some K98’s. As the Model 24 chambered 7.92x57 it required no work to incorporate it into the German Army. These rifles are uncommon and will be of interest to Mauser collectors and also those collecting Korean war memorabilia as many of these model 24's saw service with the Chinese army during that conflict. Working action and Proof House Cert. £185 We have several others of these unusual rifles in stock, please see web site for a full listing (A20) Mauser 1896 Rifle, made by Ludwig Loewe, serial number A2590 shows that this rifle was amongst the first to be sent to the Boers in South Africa during July 1896. We are advised that this rifle and others to come from this batch are from those captured by the British Army from the Boers and then disposed of after WW1 £575 (A22) CETME FR7; the FR7 was designed by a weapons designer who fled to Spain from Germany after WW2, it was an interim design which utilised a shortened stock, Mauser action and new sights, the shorter barrel had a flash hider added. The FR8 apparently used new manufactured Mauser actions whereas the FR7 utilised old stock. Reports say that the weapon shot well and fired a tight group at 100 metres. The FR7 & 8 remained in service until replaced by the CETME assault rifle. This FR7 is in very good condition with finish to the barrel & action being almost ‘as new’. The woodwork does show some bruising. Rare rifle £285 (A26) Reichsgewehr 1888/05, the so called ‘Commission’ rifle as it was designed by a committee which disregarded most of Mausers ideas. In 1905 these rifles were modified to charger loading and large numbers went on to see service in WW1. This example in very good condition for age, retains most finish, made Ludwig Loewe 1890 in Berlin £485 Other Rifles (B5) Steyr Mannlicher M1895, VGC for age (front sight appear to have been replaced incorrectly). This was the standard rifle of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in WW1 and utilised a straight pull bolt rather than a turnbolt £375 Martini-Enfield (Martini-Henry) Artillery Carbine MKII, Enfield rebarrelled to .303, choice of 2 see web site Shotguns We have box lock and old English hammer guns in stock at present with more being processed SMG Sten MKII Old spec, very nice example, full working action, field strips complete with deac certificate £550 PISTOLS Luger P08, made 1937, appears to be all matching serials, VGC, magazine has a little light pitting to the aluminium base, includes a reproduction leather holster £835 Enfield Pistol No2 Mk1*, old spec, clear chambers, exc condition Webley MkVI, 1922 dated, old spec, clear chambers, exc condition except for chip to base of left grip.
