Two World Wars,
periods in time not readily identified with by the young, those who lived
through those harrowing times are now becoming a rare breed, their worlds of
trenches, dugouts, shelters, Identity cards, air raid instructions, rationing,
sirens, bombing, fear and hope are now long gone, but the civilian's documents,
soldiers paybooks and passes, the boots they marched in, equipment they wore
and used, the documents carried, letters written, their life, their wars, can
bring an added dimension to your class and make everything that bit more
personal. We provide a large number
of WW1 and WW2 related history resources for teachers locally and
nationally. |
