Tips: Fill in documents in blue fountain pen, never use biro they were not in general use during WW2 and it is highly unlikely that one would have been found in a military office during WW2. Blank out places/towns in paybooks with a blue chisel shaped marker (or even better, a very wide nip with fountain pen ink-blue)if you are supposed to be on active service. Some of our forms can be scored and torn to simulate removal from a pad. telegrams shoudl be completed in pencil
