There never seems to be enough information on battledress, but this book goes a long way towards rectifying that situation, dealing with all patterns from the early 'battledress serge' and subsequent 40 and austerity patterns, through 46 and 47 pattern up to 49 pattern.

Definitly an under represented area of collecting, this book covers the whole field of tropical uniform from the pre WW1 service dress through WW2 KD's up to the advent of tropical DPM. Very useful.

Once again Mike Chappell researched a subject about which little information existed and laid it down in one of his excellent A4 publications. This one deals with '03; '08; '14 pattern equipment, along with mess tins, anti gas equipment, capes, washkit, dogtags etc. etc.
