opened on Monday the 14th December 2009. We are normally open from
11.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, Saturdays by arrangement, but it is
vital to telephone before travelling to visit us as we cannot guarantee those
times due to the need to deliver and collect stock etct

KILL Made about 1940, this War Department training film details the
use of the Boyes Anti Tank rifle, Thomson SMG, 2 Pounder Anti Tank Gun and the
tactics of suppressive fire in the attack, a useful summary at the end covers
salient points. This is the second half of the film, the first being now lost
in time. TAKE CARE OF YOUR GASMASK Made by the Ministry of Home
Security about 1939/40, during the Phoney War, it was intended for instruction
of ARP personnel and the General Public in the proper use and care of gasmasks.
It was made as a silent production and is thus an interesting and evocative
item from WW2 Total running time about 72 minutes

In April 2001 we moved house, a number of
people have expressed an interest in this wonderful old building, and so in
response to requests we have included a section about the villlage and the
house we are currently renovating. Please note that due to the attitude of the
local council we will NOT be opening the shop in the forseeable
